Saturdays are usually reserved for Favorite Farm Pics Saturday posts, but with renewing my ACLS & NRP certifications and trying to cram 20 CEU’s in to renew my nursing license before the end of the month, I have been unable to get out and take some good shots.
Most of you know that I haven’t been on Facebook since Lent began. It’s been 17 days and I really haven’t missed it. No, I’m not Catholic. I don’t believe you have to be. It’s a matter of the heart and what your intentions are. I’ve chosen to give thanks and pray each time I think about getting on Facebook.
Confession time: I have some friends who only communicate with me through FB messaging. My cell phone has a separate app called Messenger. I’ve received several messages that way since this began and thought nothing of communicating that way…until my daughter busted me. I told her that I’m pretty sure God isn’t going to strike me dead. Nor is He going to disown me for receiving all the sweet birthday FB posts I received yesterday through email. I thought that I had successfully disabled that, but am really glad it didn’t work!
So, to all the people who sent me happy birthday wishes through fb, texts and emails…Thank you!!! And a BIG thanks to John Neinhiser with Syngenta for the gift card left at Pappadeaux last night. The lobster was fabulous!!!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
